Editorial Policy
How travel guidance is selected, checked, written, and corrected.
Reader Usefulness Comes First
Pages should help a traveler make a real decision: where to base, how long to stay, which transfer is practical, what a realistic day may cost, and which official information must be checked before booking. We avoid unsupported rankings, keyword stuffing, invented urgency, fictional testimonials, and claims of experience we cannot verify.
Source Priority
Official tourism boards, transport operators, airports, national-park services, weather agencies, and government information receive priority for schedules, rules, closures, safety, and logistics. Public forums and trip reports may reveal recurring traveler concerns, but they do not override official requirements or become factual proof on their own.
Time-Sensitive Information
Prices, opening hours, train schedules, visa rules, weather risks, and access conditions can change. Pages should state when figures are approximate and direct readers to current official sources. A visible review date records when a page's planning guidance was last checked; it is not a guarantee that every third-party detail remains unchanged.
Commercial Independence
Advertising, affiliate links, and Premium Guide sales support the site. They do not purchase favorable editorial treatment. Sponsored links are disclosed and marked for search engines. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
Substantive errors should be corrected promptly and transparently. Instructions for reporting an issue are in the Corrections Policy.
